“I don’t know why I do it. You know, dresses and wear lipstick. Gives me some sort of comfort. Some kind of satisfaction. And people call me a queer for it. Since I was eleven. But that’s alright. I’m not so new to ridicule. Out of all things, I hate rape and perversion. Rape the action, perversion the words. Maybe some people just don’t have a heart.”

You only saw the theatrical version of RotK. There’s like, hours of extra footage in the extended version, so I recommend buying that and watching it. (Totally worth it.)
The Disturbing Sculptures of Dongwook
" Love Me Sweet"Arrario Gallery Seoul samcheong, Korea 2012
Dongwook Lee’s works focus on the contradictions that are fundamentally inherent in human existence and life. Exquisitely hyper-realistic and surrealistically imagined renditions of his miniature human figures are staged in absurd situations in Lee’s works, in which the bleak everyday life transforms into poetic horror. In Lee’s work, a fragile warrior is wearing his own flesh as his armor, and the naked child stands with innocent face in front of blood-stained killing (which he might have committed). His oeuvre stands at an odd intersection of life and death, beauty and cruelty, civilization and wild, and reality and fantasy, unfolding a world of fantasy where people are severed from reality.
[When Sir Patrick Stewart was asked to describe Sir Ian McKellen’s early days on the british stage]
Look at that smug face. And he’s doing a little dance!! You can see he’s victory dancing in his head xD [x]
(Ian McKellen as Hamlet, 1971. I mean, honestly.)
